Diversity helps us, passion for humanity leads us! We belief that the impact of the past cannot be the impact of the future. That’s why we take new ways!

We are on our fourth year now. The System changer network was launched in January 2022.

In the first year (2021),

• After having built already first relationships among each other, we discovered the power co-creating in innovative, systemic ways and the opportunities while working together as a network of 9 Local NGOs
• We committed to collaborate beyond the individual organizational borders while including also local authorities, Academia and other national and international stakeholders. We aligned on our most important values, among them: trust in each other, transparency, authenticity and passion.
• We developed the idea of working in systems of systems, not in enlarging our network to a higher number but rather to follow examples as we find the in nature ( just consider e.g how cells interact, our skin is not made out of one big powerful cell!)
• We built exchange structures among the organizations to ensure a sustainable scaling of diverse trainings, down to the communities
• We developed our common vision and started to bring in innovative ideas while connecting to social enterprises
• We started to measure not just the activities and projects taking place within our network, but also the level of collaboration which led to an enormous increase of togetherness. The first system index that we evaluated before the official launch was 2.6.

In 2022, we officially launched the System Changer network Kenya! We…

• built systemically exchange structures of skills and knowledge on various levels
• We Integrated – based on the needs of the community – 12 social entrepreneurial ideas from around the globe
• And started to see the first centers upcoming
• We saw the multiplication of various activities and trainings in nearly all SCN places upcoming
• The network system index went up to 3.7

In 2023, in our network

– we had run 198 activities in different areas tackling challenges in health and hygiene, income generating activities, culture and education, environment and infrastructure.

– an outreach into 10 counties

– more than 40 times a presence in local and national Media

– our network index of collaboration grew from 3,6 to 4,1 (we want to reach the maximum of 5 by 2028!)

– a huge number of community trainers, but also professors from universities were involved in some projects

– we developed together with local authorities specific safety and protection programs for children and parents that are actively rolled out in all centers by them

– and much more…

And now, in 2024 what’s on the agenda?
