Today we went on a very special tour to Tongaren in Western Kenya, visiting Core Health & Wealth International, one of our SCN partners. 🌍

Core Health & Wealth works closely with farmers and families – and faces a huge challenge: the extremely high rate of teenage mothers.

Over the past 18 months, we have launched many activities together: from awareness campaigns, to working with schools and churches, to direct support programs. Today, we celebrated an important milestone: the opening of our counseling and support center for teenage mothers. 🎉

Many of these girls are only 10 to 18 years old. Suddenly left alone with their challenges, they often lose access to school and education. Through professional training, pathways back to school, and intensive awareness work, we are creating new perspectives for their future.

And what makes this special: this effort is not limited to Tongaren. In seven other locations across Kenya, our SCN partners are also working on solutions – supported by constant exchange and mutual learning.
